Chinese Sausage
so i decided to put together a nice little post that deals with some everydayish food that i eat. one of my favorite things to eat ever is chinese sausage with burnt rice. i've cooked up a few sausages and burned some rice and plated them with a little bit of kimchi:

as you can see i've sliced the sausage diagonally (as they are supposed to be) and stuffed them into the rice which i have rolled into balls.

this isn't just ordinary rice though, it's jasmine rice overcooked to give it a harder texture and has been seasoned. i seasoned the rice with toasted sesame seeds, a small bit of cayenne pepper, white pepper and very very small pieces of fried onion (hanh phi); the rice is mixed and beat up and finally rolled into bite-sized balls for the chinese sausage to rest in.
this playing would be how i'd serve it in a restaurant, smaller portioned for an appetizer or snack:

well another food post done with. i'm really struggling with money and food right now so don't expect too many food posts very often!
