Eurotrip: Day 2 - A little travel
so since we've been here we havent really been sight seeing. a small bit of exploring (walking) and visitng family here and there, if you walk up the block from our apartment you see this: the city. not even a 2minute walk:
right when you get to the main street you'll run into a little bakery which has all the pastries you'll ever want, everything is fresh and everything is amazingly good. the baggets in france are best i've ever had!
i just snapped a quick pic of one of the near by gas stations:
the cheapest would be 1.519euro per liter which comes out to be about $2.337 per liter. theres 3.785liters in a gallon, do that math and its $8.81 per GALLON!!!! our gas still isnt as bad as it is here in europe lets hope it doesnt.
here are the public restrooms. they're like super fancy porta-potties, they have all sorts of accommodations including music while you do your duty (doodie) and yes, they are 'pay toilets'
heres a closer look at your menu:
they dont call it 'the city of love' just because the french are smooth talkers, heres a vending machine that vends....
CONDOMS! yes, condoms and they can be found every couple of blocks here on the streets of paris. hmm... how come i cant find any pepsi vending machines but every block i can buy a "ribbed for her pleasure" and "warmth tingle sensation"?
of course one of the most famous things to see in paris is the tower, we were having a late dinner and someone we suggested we go and here's a few pictures of the tower.
these pictures serve little to no justice as to what the real life experience is but they still came out pretty nice.

in europe the sun doesnt completely set until at least 11pm! and even then the sky is still a little blue. theres so much day time here my internal clock is all jacked up. morning hits at about 4AM and it starts getting dark at around 10:45PM, its really adding to my jet-lagg and not helping anything at all lolz
at midnight the tower will flash these lights making it look like diamonds sparkling on the tower. it lasts for quite a while and is a spectacular scene!!!
this is a picture i took of the tower when it was flashing, i had the exposure set a little longer so i could get all the lights going off at once but since i didnt have a tripod the picture came out blurry but you get the idea:
we plan to come back during the day but i dont know if it'll be anytime soon. it looks like we're gonna be spending alot of time in paris, we don't leave to italy until sunday i think; i'm not too sure what our plans are gonna be like...
its about 3AM here and i'm getting ready to go to sleep. it's almost 7pm in colorado and i'm really hungry hope it doesn't keep me up
